Orcinus Technologies Inc. (Orcintech) was established in November 2018 in St. John’s, NL, Canada, to develop innovative solutions for stress analysis, integrity management, and life extension of pipelines, risers, umbilicals, and cables through the incorporation of the advanced soil interaction effects using in-house developed data collection systems and modeling tools, for both onshore and offshore systems.

The founders of Orcintech invested four decades of accumulative industrial-academic experience in engineering design, construction, operation, management, research, innovation, and technology development. The founders’ expertise fall in the area of pipelines and risers geotechnics, offshore and subsea structures, offshore installation, offshore and onshore foundations and geotechnics, Arctic and harsh environment engineering, coastal infrastructures, and ocean environmental challenges, offshore renewable energy resources from very shallow to very deep waters. Orcintech’s goal is to be a leading knowledge-based firm in developing innovative solutions in geotechnics of slender elements, stress analysis, and life extension of infrastructures. Based in St. John’s, we serve clients in North and South America, the Middle East, Africa, South East Asia, and Australia.
