Overview
Digital twins are often discussed at a high level, but their real value comes from how they are used in practice. This demonstration was designed to show exactly how our digital twin platform works and how it supports real-world decision-making across urban, environmental, transportation, and marine domains.
The platform brings together spatial data, real-time information, and analytical tools into a single, interactive 3D environment that is powerful yet easy to use.
Levels of Detail Designed for Scale and Precision
Our platform supports multiple Levels of Detail (LOD), allowing clients to choose the right balance between performance, coverage, and accuracy.
LOD 1.0 represents buildings as simple 3D blocks. This level is ideal for large-scale city or regional analysis where speed and performance are critical.
LOD 2.2, which we primarily deliver for governments and municipalities, includes more detailed building geometry and visible rooftop structures. These models are continuously refined within the platform to improve accuracy over time.
LOD 3.0 is fully manual and highly precise. Individual buildings are modeled in CAD and are typically used for landmarks and iconic structures where detailed visualization and categorization are required.
Texture Options for Different Use Cases
We provide multiple texture options depending on scale and project needs.
Satellite-based textures are cost-effective and work well for large areas, offering strong visuals from a distance.
At the highest level, we deliver highly detailed textures that clearly show façade and rooftop elements. This level is used when close-up visualization and realism are important.
2D and 3D Asset Modeling
Beyond buildings, the platform includes a wide range of 2D and 3D assets such as fire hydrants, recreation facilities, transit shelters, parcels, building footprints, road edges, parking lots, sidewalks, and bridges.
Parcels are especially important for property and land management applications, supporting ownership analysis, planning, and regulatory workflows.
These datasets typically achieve 90 to 95 percent accuracy compared to real-world conditions and are produced using multiple validated data sources.
Imagery, Terrain, and Bathymetry
The platform integrates high-resolution aerial imagery at approximately 8 centimeters, satellite imagery around 30 centimeters, and terrain models such as DTM and DSM to represent elevation and surface height.
We also provide LiDAR-derived bathymetry datasets, which are essential for coastal and port management.
Basemaps can be customized based on client preferences and operational requirements.
Practical Analysis Tools
Users can measure distances directly within the 3D model using built-in measurement tools.
GIS-based analysis tools allow users to apply distance buffers and analyze which buildings fall within an area and how they are used.
Viewshed analysis enables visibility studies from any selected point, with adjustable height and clear differentiation between visible and obstructed areas.
Shadow analysis allows users to select dates and times to see how shadows move across buildings throughout the day and how patterns change across days.
Solar roof analysis highlights solar potential across different times of day and seasons, supporting energy planning and sustainability assessments.
Weather, Climate, and Environmental Intelligence
The platform integrates near real-time weather forecasting data and weather station feeds, fully visualized within the 3D environment. Users can move time forward to observe how conditions evolve.
Weather simulations include snow, cloud cover, and precipitation.
Flood simulations allow rainfall scenarios to be defined and instantly show affected areas and buildings, along with statistics such as impacted building counts and estimated damage costs.
Snow management tools calculate snow height and volume based on defined conditions, helping estimate required snow removal vehicles and operational costs for highways and facilities.
Environmental monitoring includes air quality sensors measuring air quality index, ozone, and nitrogen dioxide, all visualized spatially for situational awareness and risk identification.
Transportation and Marine Capabilities
Transportation features include near real-time traffic flow updates refreshed every few seconds, with color-coded visualization to indicate congestion levels.
Public transportation is visualized with active vehicles showing details such as ID, speed, route, and direction, updated near real time.
CCTV integration allows cameras to appear dynamically in 2D and 3D depending on zoom level, with fast-updating sensor data and accessible metadata.
In the marine section, the platform provides near real-time vessel tracking, allowing users to select ships and view their details.
Water quality datasets generated using satellite imagery and AI models show changes over time, highlight high-risk areas, and provide exact measurements when selected.
Built for Real-World Decisions
This platform is designed to turn complex, multi-source data into clear, actionable insight. While the interface remains simple, the underlying capabilities support complex operational, planning, and risk-management decisions.
The demonstration highlights how urban, environmental, transportation, and marine intelligence can be unified in one system to support governments, municipalities, infrastructure operators, and enterprise clients.
