FireX: Real-Time Wildfire Intelligence for Fire Departments

FireX’s Wildfire Intelligence Moves Fast
Every fire department knows the feeling: by the time a fire is confirmed, it’s already gaining ground. The margin between detection and response is where lives, homes, and communities are protected, or lost. FireX was built to widen that margin.
Built Around Your Location, Not a Region
FireX doesn’t treat every department the same. We work with fire departments across a range of sites, and each one gets its own live operational view, built specifically around their terrain and conditions.
Detection You Can Trust
The platform checks satellite data every 15 minutes and automatically flags new fires the moment they’re detected. Click on any fire and pull up everything relevant to it instantly. A running feed shows every fire detected in the past 24 hours, so your team is never working from stale information.
Seeing What’s Happening and Coming Next
Detection is only half the picture. FireX layers in four key tools; the Wildfire Hazard Index, the Fire Weather Index, Ignition Source detection, and an overall Risk score, and projects them forward 24 hours, so departments can watch exactly how danger builds and where.
Flexible, Detailed Analysis
Departments can toggle map layers on and off; fires, perimeters, hazard zones, landcover, fire stations, scanners, to see exactly what matters to them. Draw a box or polygon around any area to pull fuel load, fire weather, and hazard data specific to that zone, with red indicating higher risk, and run the same 24-hour forward projection there too. Need hyper-local conditions? Drop a pin anywhere and get instant temperature, humidity, wind, and rainfall data for that exact point.
Direct Access to Satellite Imagery
Our Satellite Explorer connects to seven different satellite sources. Choose one, set your area and date, pick what you want to look at, and generate the imagery, all in a single click.
Fire Spread Simulation
This is where FireX goes further than a standard dashboard. Model how a fire could spread from a single point over the next few hours, up to 48 hours out. Simulate multiple points at once, draw a fire line to model realistic spread patterns, or map a whole polygon to simulate spread across an entire area. FireX also models ember spotting, showing where embers are likely to jump ahead of a fire and ignite new ones, based on wind and terrain.
Learning From What Already Happened
Beyond prediction, FireX gives departments a historical replay tool. Select an area and date range and watch exactly how a past fire moved. Departments can select the original ignition point and timeframe and watch every hotspot unfold as it actually happened; real, actionable insight for future decisions.
Full-Scale, Full-Picture Intelligence
FireX can simulate every actively detected fire in a region simultaneously, generate fuel and vegetation data on demand, and layer in critical infrastructure; hospitals, fire and police stations, schools, roads, and power lines, all in one unified view. And at the center of it all is our AI Agent: ask how today’s risk looks, and get the full picture instantly.
